I could swear I saw a promo that had a bruised Dasha and Konstantin sitting in the back of a car. Did I dream that? I can't find it anywhere, and didn't see that shot in the episode.

They seem to be showing promo style clips of outtakes or deleted scenes. It's pretty funny, like a real time extras or micro blooper reel.

Is it just me or have the last couple of episodes this season just been... meh? What direction is the show going in now? What's the point? Can anybody explain?

What I want from S4 is some kind of 12-step "Assassins Anonymous" meeting where Villanelle tries to swear off murdering for hire to win Eve's heart, but fails. Also, some kind of hurf-durf "12-stepping away from the 12" joke that gets Konstantin and Villanelle laughing together ominously again.

I realize that is some way-out-there fanfic I've just proposed and pretty unrealistic for the actual show, so please link me if and when one of y'all writes this ;)

We still don't know whether Geraldine is secretly working against her mother, do we? I feel like that's one of the plot holes from this season that didn't quite get filled in. (I will admit that I normally watch each ep twice and didn't this season, because *gestures broadly at 2020 shit show outside*).

Xtine, I feel you on this. There's been a different main writer in charge of each season, and that may be where the disconnect you/we feel is coming from?

Oh, there's all kinds of things to pursue in season 4 (which is being written right now, so the writer's room is probably chuckling at us right now), but I was struck by the two scenes (on the dance floor and on the bridge) where Eve and Villanelle actually talked to each other, like two real people, without the masks or the elaborate verbal games. More of that, please.

"So weird... I was trained to look devastating... Obviously." Such a good Villanelle line and delivery.

I was struck by the two scenes (on the dance floor and on the bridge) where Eve and Villanelle actually talked to each other, like two real people, without the masks or the elaborate verbal games.

Two people who know the darkest sides to one another and, not accept exactly, but acknowledge without revulsion. The dance floor was my favorite part, though. They danced beautifully together once Eve led. I'd like to see Eve and Villanelle actually try to tame their monsters together, or at least be monstrous for good.

If Geraldine was just a neglected daughter, then fine. Konstantin's confession doesn't quite ring true to me though. Why wouldn't he have told Carolyn that from the start?
