Okay I literally made this post so that I could exclaim that you can NOT put THE lip sync assassin of all time (except somehow in the finals when someone pulled literal rosebuds out of their wig) Shea Coulée against someone purporting to be a lip sync assassin, even if that person is Alyssa Edwards (who I guessed just based on the to-knee preview of obvious thigh-high boots in last week's preview), so yeah, Shea, obviously.

Shea forever everyone else go home, bye. Though I wish India had gone home today. Poor Ongina.

I thought the celebrity crushes idea was cute, and the goofy choices like Hannibal Lecter had comedy potential, but that end product was way underwhelming.

I love Ongina, but she sure seemed to be having a lot of trouble right out of the gate there.

Shea looks like she's going to be awfully hard to stop...and I really don't have a problem with that.

The editing on that lip sync was weird, and it made Alyssa seem like she was barely trying. Shea definitely deserved the win, but was Alyssa asked to underperform?

Alyssa did seem to be taking it easy. Wonder if the assassins have any motivation to really go for it.

Miz, what is you doing. Is your anxiety taking the form of interjecting unasked-for opinions this season?

It’s so early, but the cast is so “eh”, don’t know who could beat Shea at this point. Maybe Jujubee?

Yeah as we were watching the lip sync and saw how much the camera was on Shea I was like "well, I guess Shea has this in the bag, huh?" and yeah. Alyssa is maybe my favourite Drag Race alum of all time (or is it Shangela???) but SHEA.

Sorry more feels: I would be perfectly happy to see Alexis Mateo win. I also really like her and as was joked during the library challenge, she would be the first larger queen and the first Latinx to win Drag Race. How has it been 12 regular seasons and four all stars and no one Latinx has won???

I was not sure whether I needed more Alexis Mateo when I first saw her in this all stars lineup, after having seen her previous two appearances and not being totally into her, but it turns out I absolutely did! She is a breath of fresh air so far this season.

Season 3 was the first one I watched, way back when, so I love Alexis Mateo and am loving seeing her again!

I wish India Ferrah had gone home instead of Ongina. Ongina always leaves too soon!

I felt a bit sad for Ongina, hasn't she been watching RPDR at all, lately? Like, they're practically all reading from the same script, so as soon as anyone expresses any doubt or insecurity about their performance, the Drama Monsters who've been brought in for the season rush in with "that's not All Star talk!" , etc. And keep it up.
Shea's runway outfit was EVERYTHING. Give her the crown, throw the rest of the tip money on the runway and let them fight over it.

Oh on Madison Beer as a judge: I watched the episode of Celebrity Drag Race she was on and I couldn't even finish the episode. The first three episodes of that show were pretty good (Episode 3 has Dustin Milligan aka Ted from Schitt's Creek and he's AWESOME in it) but that one was awwwwwwwwful. Get a personality; being pretty isn't a personality, yo.

Is Bianca del Rio not considered Latinx?

This really is shaping up to be Shea's season and I do not mind in the least. I wouldn't be mad at a Jujubee upset, but Shea is clearly the front-runner and deservedly so.

Is Bianca del Rio not considered Latinx?

Sorry, you're totally right: Ray Horlock/Bianca Del Rio is of Cuban/Hondouran descent and thus Latinx. I was going by the read that stated it that way (first Latina and first plus size, though I can't remember who said it now). Sorry about that.

Violet Chachki (Season 7) is also latinx.

Well that's the last time I get my information from THAT library, wow. Now I need to rewatch the episode to see who said that.
