I came to the show because I was a Connie Britton fan, but lately the Layna storyline might as well be commercials. I care as much about them NOT getting married as I do about the montage at the end of Newsroom. I am hopeful that Rayna will have some brand new plot of her own when the show comes back, but I'm not optimistic. So far, Juliette and Avery is the least stupid of the raft of stupid wedding plots this month (and pregnant Hayden P is a pretty interesting and unusual kind of presence on TV).

I thought for sure Rayna was going to rush to Deacon's hospital bed, leaving Luke at the altar, but I guess that's a little too soapy even for this show.

Is Scarlett's hair a wig this season? She looks so odd.

It was obvious several episodes ago that the wedding was not going to happen. Nothing too explicit was exhibited by Luke but there was an undercurrent of anger/violence/threat/manipulation from Luke that garnered a few side-eyes from Layna.

Is that makeup/prosthetics? She has the roundest/chubbiest face ever.
