Hey unknown person in writers room, no fair using the song you picked out in addiction counseling to use as a mantra against your compulsions, as a jukebox party piece. I know you've sobbed this to yourself in the car when your sponsor didn't pick up, but really.

Here you come again
Just when I've begun to get myself together
You waltz right in the door
Just like you've done before
And wrap my heart 'round your little finger
Here you come again
Just when I'm about to make it work without you
You look into my eyes and lie those pretty lies
And pretty soon I'm wond'rin how I came to doubt you.
All you gotta do is smile that smile
And there go all my defenses
Just leave it up to you and in a little while
You're messin' up my mind and fillin' up my senses
Here you come again lookin' better than a body has a right to
And shakin' me up so that all I really know
Is here you come again and here I go
All you gotta do is smile that smile
And there got all my defenses
Just leave it up to you and in a little while
You're messin' up my mind and fillin' up my senses
Here you come again lookin' better than a body has a right to
And shakin' me up so that all I really know
Is here you come again, and here I go, here I go
And here I go
And here I go
Here you come again and here I go
Here I go

All the drunken breakdown stuff felt very by-the-numbers until the by-the-numbers prison talk with her brother (which was so well-done it made me cry) and the Michelle Gomez interaction (hearing she didn't kill Alex was a genuine surprise)

Good choice - "by the numbers." But yet, yeah, it was effective.

I was worried about the flashback and other-memory things, but editing it to show the blindspots she had built for herself and what was likely closer to reality was done well and very believable.

As a drunk, a lot of the revalatory stuff (including drunk logic) rings true. Like, Buckley was the sensitive kid who liked animals and a neighbour killed his cohort of adoptees...

Now, Cassie's unedited flashback of a garage full of strung up dead bunnies (by Davey?); Buckley's were in a tree (?) so Davey probably didn't kill Buck's companions. Did Davey ever kill animals for no good reason, or is this a re-edited memory?

I think the dead bunnies are her dad's kills, not her brother's.
