This just finished its weekly broadcast/Netflix run - I think the Dramabeans recapper summed it up well in their finale review: "We made it to the conclusion, folks, and Nevertheless deserves a round of applause for doing everything I was hoping it wouldn’t, and giving us a conclusion that was meant to be satisfying, but proves anything but. The finale ties up loose ends, rides its metaphors into the stratosphere, and the story ends without ever really landing its message. I guess there was none."

On the plus side, the lesbian subplot was sweet, the soundtrack was pretty, the sex scene was probably the least PG one I've seen in a kdrama so far, there was some nice cinematography, and Song Kang is very beautiful to look at. But, yeah, overall, this was not a winner.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm looking for a new k-drama to watch and this one keeps popping up in my Netflix feed. I'll skip Nevertheless and move on to Hospital Playlist 2.

Glad to be of service. I didn't dislike it as strongly as the Dramabeans recapper did -- but they had to devote time/labor to analyzing it while I could just watch the pretty for an hour and forget about it until next week. I'm up to episode 8 of Hospital Playlist 2 now, expect I'll catch up to the weekly drops before the episode 12 finale after all.
