Spouse kept insisting Checkov’s deadman’s curve was going to be a double header, and I thought Mitch would catch Corona and kill himself … was a little bit of that.

Especially with “his side” in his short term documentarian / friendly lover’s hands, he could not survive a season set in scandal and Corona.

As for ages — Mitch had just turned 50 last season, so Alex and Laura are playing 45 and Bradley mid 30s.

are those ages confirmed?? Steve Carrell is 61, Jennifer Anniston is 54, Julianna Margulies is 57 and Reese Witherspoon is 47. I think they all, as Hollywood bigwigs, look great, but I think they also look their ages. I am 55, my husband is 61. I cannot read Bradley as mid 30s just doesn't scan for me, but then again we do see people getting cast way outside of their actual ages all the time.

one of the things I LIKE about this show is all the middle age women with power and success, let them be middle aged!
