The "St. Patrick’s Day Slam" edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS will air live tonight from the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas.

Tonight’s Dynamite will be headlined by a big Steel Cage match for the AEW Women’s World Title as Britt Baker defends against hometown star Thunder Rosa. The AEW TNT Title will also be on the line as Scorpio Sky defends his title and his streak against Wardlow, who earned the title shot by winning the Face of The Revolution Ladder Match earlier this month.

AEW has announced the following line-up for tonight:
* Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson vs. Chuck Taylor and Wheeler Yuta
* AEW TNT Champion Scorpio Sky defends against Wardlow
* Adam Cole and reDRagon vs. AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page and AEW World Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express
* Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, and 2point0 host the Jericho Appreciation Society Commencement
* Main Event: AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker defends against hometown star Thunder Rosa in a Steel Cage match

I know the purpose of the cage is to prevent interference from Britt Baker's flunkies, but since this episode is coming from Texas, it would be pretty nice if the finish of the match was all of Thunder Rosa's friends from Mission Pro Wrestling invading the cage and holding Baker down while Rosa gives her a richly-deserved beatdown.

So, MJF and Shawn Spears cost Wardlow the TNT Championship match against Scorpio Sky. This is one of those outcomes that's predictable, because it's the logical result of what's come before. I don't need a swerve just for the sake of a swerve.

Also, I love that MJF's parents are still helping him get heel heat.

My friend who doesn't watch wrestling, seeing Thunder Rosa's all-female mariachi-themed entrance: "Oh, she's definitely winning this."

Just like last St. Patrick's Day, Britt and Rosa's match had a couple of spots I (were I a wrestler) would have politely declined.

I love Jim Ross wondering aloud what the ring crew needed all those tacks for.

I’m picturing Wheeler Yuta going to pin his hand-drawn crayon drawing of himself and Regal winning the tag championships together to his vision board only to realize he’d forgotten all his thumbtacks under the ring again.

I love Jim Ross wondering aloud what the ring crew needed all those tacks for.

Similarly, when Regal joined the announce team at the desk, he had his own Grumpy Old Man moment when he failed to recognize Excalibur or Dannhausen and wondered aloud “Masked man, who is that gothic waif over there?”

By the way, in case anyone missed the six or seven announcements during the show, Rampage will be delayed until 11:30 PM tonight or whenever basketball is done.

Whoopsie-doodle I just realized this has the same headline as the previous week's Fanfare post.

Obviously it should read: AEW Dynamite 3/16 & Rampage 3/18
