Watching the makes me realize how often I’d speed-read the cringe-inducing scenes. Not that there’s anything wrong with them: I just find them so uncomfortable to read.

This episode got me hooked.

I'm also so jealous of Jack Lowden/ River Cartwright's hair.

I'm very upset by the ending.

Was this supposed to be a "Books Included" post?

Oh. Hmm. I forgot about that. I don’t have strong opinions either way.

I'd prefer these be "show only", but I'm ok with non-spoiler book stuff.

I'll refrain from commenting while the post is still in this Schrödinger's cat-like state of ambiguity, but I think it should be clearly marked as "Books Included" or "Show Only".

Since Pronoiac seems to be the only one with an opinion, let's go with "show only."

Mod note: I have amended it thus!

The actor who plays Jed Moody also plays Siegfried Farnon in the new remake of All Creatures Great and Small. This is for anyone else who's like "that looks like Siegfried, but he's in the wrong century?!"

The actor who played Jed Moody/the body on the stair landing was played by Steven Waddington who I best remember from Last of the Mohicans. Samuel “Siegfried” West played the right wing politician.

Darn, I thought I'd checked IMDb, but wires were crossed. Yes, West played Peter Judd, and I'm using copypasta this time.
