This was a really amazing episode. I can't wait for the next one. I really love a mystical space-time exploring Adventure Time story arc and I'm excited to be seeing one as it airs for the first time.

Who is the pilot of the comet? It looked like Finn's Dad, but that can't be right. Can it?

Well, you're right. It can, of course. It just seemed unlikely. Maybe I'm just not clear on exactly what happened to him after he escaped from The Citadel.

As I remember (I've been watching all of them over the last few months) After the Citadel kerfuffle was over he was shown trying to make himself the captain of a bunch of other former inmates who were standing on a (thing that could be used as a) ship and they left into a rift in space or something like that.

Adventure Time really feels like it's building to something gigantic. I wonder if they're planning on wrapping it up in a season or two, or if it'll build up to a huge turning point and then continue on from there.

I can't begin to imagine the show is headed for a series finale kind of situation, though. Cartoon Network has never had a hit like this. But it is almost the end of the current season.

ward quit? I had no idea! Wow. I hope the show continues on its excellent path.

about half way through i thought this episode was going to be pure bumpkis. but now its one of my favorites. Its amazing what they can pack into 15 minutes.
