Abbott Elementary: Fire

Barbara accidentally causes a fire in the break room and is super embarrassed. Ava flees almost the entire episode to hit the spa, causing Gregory to declare himself interim principal. Jacob made carrot cookies. Melissa is a "truckie" (fan of fire trucks).
Gregory on the carrot cookies: "Those look alive." *flees*
"Someone's trying to use cashmere and Jesus to blackmail Barbara!"
"Any chance you can get your coworker away from my truck?"
Jacob on the carrot cookies: "It's a 57-step recipe."
Melissa on a particular fire: "It was started by my other uncle. And I'm not snitching, cause he's proud of it."
After Melissa tries the cookies: "Son of a bitch, they're delicious....Wipe the tape!"
Barbara was lighting a prayer candle/prayer shawling about her husband possibly having prostate cancer, but he's fine now. Janet the Fire Lady talks her into taking a day off.
Poor Gregory, so happy to suddenly steal the interim principal title while Ava runs away.
Melissa and Jacob's truck joy was sweet.

I loved how much Melissa loves firetrucks, to the point of boring her students and the firefighters. I thought it was very sweet of Jacob to get his frisbee stuck so he could get the firefighters to let her retrieve it. Solo pickup ultimate - it's niche.
My favorite moment was the firefighter's face falling as he realized "the big hunk" Melissa was talking about was the truck and not him.

This was such a great episode. Abbott Elementary really does keep on churning out classics over and over again. This whole show is going to leave such a lasting impression.
