I found the anthology bits somewhat entertaining, but the Space King/Prince bits were meh, and didn't even relate to the other parts -- bring back the fing-longerer.

I have two things to say:

1. If they had spread the sheer joy and ridiculousness of this episode over the whole season we would have had a good whole season.

2. I wish to purchase all of those toys immediately. ("Collect all 11!")

Also I kind of loved how deliberately stupid the main story was and how horribly dark all of the "toy" segments were.

This may well have been the best episode of the season, if only by default. Couple good lines in there, like “heaven isn’t a real place, unlike hell”

Agreed, this was the best of the new batch. Getting back to the non-topical hijinks worked a lot better.

This one didn't do it for me. I like the conceit that there was a generic, by-the-numbers Futurama episode that we didn't get to see happening in the background (The Simpsons and Family Guy have recently done this too), but the toy stories just felt so uninspired. Tales Of Interest etc. felt like they had something greater to say, but this one just didn't.

yeah it was basically like an even duller version of Naturama

it was still probably the best episode of the season so far
