That was sweet - love it when Henry kisses Abe on the forehead.

Years ago, my family got contacted through the [real last name] Family website one of my dad's cousins maintains, by a guy in Czechoslovakia with our name. We couldn't figure out anywhere on the family tree that we were actually related (as far as I know, our last name is Polish, but I don't know if my great-grandparents were Poles or just fled through there escaping some other country's pogrom), but we were all delighted that there was anyone left alive in Europe with our last name post-WWII and accepted him as an honorary cousin. So, yeah, I am predisposed to like this episode.

I enjoyed this episode. Some interesting ideas about what it means for Henry to be Abe's father.

I really feel like this show has picked up in the middle of its run. I decided to give it a chance because I'm a big Ioan fan but it's started to move from "procedural with a twist" to something a little bit deeper and meditative. And I am loving the chemistry between Abe and Henry. I hope this gets picked up for another season or more.
