It was minor, but Breakfast Princess's list of grievances adds to my growing feeling that the kingdoms are building towards a war with each other. I first got that sense when we found out Slime Princess's sister was building up the kingdom's army. Plus, PB has clearly been preparing for shit to go down.

Awwwwwww, Strudel Princess!

This definitely seemed more like the season one agent-of-chaos Marceline, indicating she hasn't changed so much as she's revealed depth to a chosen few, and continued to just mess with people otherwise. I admit that if I had children I might be slightly terrified by the lessons they learned from this episode.

- Huh, I had no idea Breakfast Princess was so jerky!

- I like Marceline's phone. I think it's some sort of lamprey? PB appears to have the candy version of the iPhone.

- Slime Princess's mature professional voice gets me every time!

I got the impression that the conflicts at Princess Conf were just normal trade frictions between nations. The army-building is just a thing that nations do, I think. (Now I feel like one of those "But we're just there to find WMDs!" people.)

Though, she seemed at times to be pushed along by LSP's expectations of "Bad Marceline." It was an odd self-feeding moment, where LSP kept on looking to Marceline for justification/approval to do bad things and Marceline doing so out of an expectation that she should justify/approve such things.

I think Princess Bubblegum's nonchalance during the entire conference kind of implied to me that it was a run of a mill conference. That or she had already given up that there could be peace in Ooo time.

The second I saw Marceline with the neck scarf in the convertible, I immediately began thinking of Thelma & Louise. I was surprised that the plunge off the cliff was an accident instead of intentional, but again, at that point, Marceline was feeling bad about taking the CD.

I would love to see a conference of the unlicensed/unapproved princesses who were "dangerously" roaming the Land of Ooo.

What's up with Marceline's outfit? Was it just for the Thelma and Louise gag?

Anyone got a guess as to what happened to Toast Princess?

She's probably part of Breakfast Princess's wardrobe now.

I'm torn between wanting to be on the side of the rebels sticking to the cool kids and thinking maybe LSP took things a little far.

I do have to say that I'll be very disappointed if war comes to Ooo. It seems like it's unnecessary to any point the show wants to make.

Adventure Time is rated TV-PG for a reason, yo. :)

The funny thing is that LSP at least believes she was once one of the cool kids and would have had no problem kicking out the uncool kids while that reality still existed. Much of her storyline this season has really dealt with her coming to terms (or not) with no longer living as a princess. She's now a homeless person who lives in a log in the woods, and a mirror image prince won't be saving her, and the peer group she once so identified with has rejected her. There definitely was real anger in her vandalism in the episode.

I love the fact that there is definitely character development for the characters in the show.

See, to me, the "cool kids" are usually just THE MAN writ small, and the rebels are nearly always the real cool kids. I do hope they resolve LSP's story soon rather than leave her out in the woods.
