Blindspot: Sent on Tour

One of Jane's tattoos sends the team to a remote location where they find themselves face to face with a dangerous criminal in a case that puts Jane and Weller's strained relationship to the test and threatens to expose Mayfair's secrets. Meanwhile, Patterson breaks the rules to solve a tattoo puzzle.

Thus continues Lou Diamond Phillips' career as a Latino actor even though he's not even remotely Latino.

As usual, the puzzles are keeping me intrigued enough to ignore all the outlandish stuff that goes on. An FBI agent bringing her top-secret project home and spread it everywhere and lets her boyfriend in on it and only gets a "warning"? Yeah, right!

Also, now I'm super invested in finding out HOW the people that tattooed Jane knows all this stuff. And of course what Daylight is. We know Jane and ruggedly-handsome-guy-that-died-way-too-quick erased her memory, but they never showed us if they also tattooed her.

It's kind of silly, really, and probably says more about the other TV I watch than it does about this show, but the things I found most refreshing about this episode:

-The characters traveled to a far-off location and that location actually looked and felt different from their usual location. (I'm looking at you, Supernatural!)

-Not only that, but these particular woods were not in Vancouver!

Sometimes I am easily pleased.

I still enjoy the show, but am worried about the ultimate conspiracy behind the tattoos. It can't hold up, right?

It's also great that the show is moving along at a decent clip, not too much is being drawn out. Hopefully Lou Diamond Philips will get lots more juicy scenes.

We laughed when he asked, incredulously, if they were actually following a bunch of riddles tattooed on someone.
