Moonbeam City: The Wedding of Rad (Lie)
December 10, 2015 3:09 AM - Season 1, Episode 10 - Subscribe
The Deluxiado crime family opens a new casino, the Thermospherion, and Pizzaz decide it's time to hunt the extremely elusive Don Segatore. By a stroke of luck (or two or even three), Rad gets him and sets the plot in motion.
And here it is, what might turn out to be the final episode, although that seems harsh (regardless of some ups and downs) for an Annie Award nominee.

I think a lot of people locked in pretty early and pretty hard to Archer comparisons, and never moved past that. Other than featuring humans less cartoony than most other animated shows (really, they might be animated Nagel prints, but a black and white drawing of them is definitely more human than Bob's, BoJack and let's not even mention the Simpsons), there really isn't much in common between both. Archer is still a relatively grounded spoof of spy films, while MBC is just a completely bizarre take on everything 80s who's not afraid of being completely ridiculous.
I also think it might not survive the cuts, but If Brickleberry got 36 episodes...

Interesting note about the Annie nom - they're up against Bob's Burgers, BoJack Horseman, and The Simpsons. The nominations (and FanFare links):
* Bob's Burgers - Episode: Can't Buy Me Math
* BoJack Horseman - Episode: Brand New Couch
* Moonbeam City - Episode: Quest for Aquatica
* The Simpsons - Episode: Halloween of Horror (not currently on FF)
Maybe a win could help bring this back? I enjoyed it, but it's broader reviews are pretty varied: IMDb: 6.7/10 (903 votes) | MetaCritic: 52% (8 reviews) | Rotten Tomatoes: 31% (13 professional reviews) / Average audience score: 75% liked it
