Angel: Dead End   Rewatch
December 10, 2015 6:10 AM - Season 2, Episode 18 - Subscribe

Lindsey returns with a new hand thanks to Wolfram & Hart. Of course, nothing from Wolfram & Hart comes without strings, as he and Angel find out.

This episode is the last we see of Lindsey until Season Five, as Lilah becomes the face of Wolfram & Hart. Additionally, it helps set up the arc of Cordelia's visions slowly killing her.

This episode added "Evil hand!" to our lexicon, to be used whenever one does something with accidentally damaging consequences. For that, I will always love it.

"Let me wipe away the tears with my plastic hand!" is my favorite variant on the "world's tiniest violin" theme.

This episode added "Evil hand!" to our lexicon, to be used whenever one does something with accidentally damaging consequences.

In my circle, it quickly evolved into being used whenever one did something with intentionally damaging consequences.

(For the record, such consequences were generally limited to juvenile prankery roughly on the level of pantsing someone in their own living room. "Evil hand!" "Both of them!" "Evil handsss...?")

(I must admit to that as well, Etrigan.)

"Stop it Evil Hand. Stop it." became our default shorthand for I'm doing something that's probably going to end poorly but I don't care.

Also, Lindsey's LA Song is lovely and flawless and may foretold most of season 5.
