Janet meets FTB. Penny needs a library card. Margo has feet of clay. Quentin & Alice listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers.
"I don't know that Alice's wardrobe reads 'reserved and uncomfortable' though. Her skirts are short."
Several of us have been complaining about her wardrobe and this actually (kinda sorta) redeems or at least explains it a bit. This is her attempt at being sexually modest, given that her parents seem to be acting out the Satyricon.

Man, she should have taken those Hamilton tickets and run.

Janet meets FTB.
Is this a book reference? Maybe I'm blanking on who/what FTB is, but Janet was the book name for someone that they changed so as not to be confused with Julia, wasn't it?

FTB is Free Trader Beowulf, which is the group that Julia is working with.

In the books, Margo was named Janet. But I far prefer Margo as her name.

If it was changed for no other reason than to give us the Margolem pun, it was worth it.

It isn't a spoiler, because it's totally incorrect: I know they look alike, but I think that is Kady, not Margo or book-Janet, who is there for FTB with Julia.

To clarify:
In answering the second question from this comment, yes, Janet is from the books; Margo is Janet.
The summary for the episode in the OP says "Janet met FTB" but should have said Julia.
Yes, Kady is with the FTB group; Kady is Asmodeus.
The comment about spoilers was just a poor joke.

Just watched this episode. It might be my favorite so far. Like woooow everything was just great! That library! Sex magic! Margolem! And it's hilarious seeing Everwood's conservative Dr. Abbott be a Roman orgy host!
