The NBA on TNT: NBA Playoffs: MIA vs TOR
May 11, 2016 11:30 AM - Season 27, Episode 3 - Subscribe
The Toronto Raptors, a young unproven team with a rabid fan base trying to get further than they have in recent memory, are tied with a Miami Heat team plagued by injury and age, who nevertheless have played with great guile and ferocity. The Severe North vs the Lackadaisical South. Lannisters vs Starks. And so forth. Meanwhile, Lebron is chilling in an ice bath with the dragons. Game 5 is tonight, 5/11/16.
Instead, the opposite! I like Demar and I think he gets slandered a lot by people who only watch the last 5 minutes of games. Nice to see him prosper.

You could easily build the Lakers around him once the Lakers figure our Jordan Clarkson is their #1 option.

I'm excited (in a mean way) to see what the Lakers do. I want to see where this downhill nepotism train is going. Max contracts are effectively very cheap this summer and a ton of teams will be able to hand them out. A lot of starters who are not stars are going to get max deals. I imagine the Lakers getting like 3 different "20 points on a bad team" volume scorers together. Glorious.

It'd be like a Lakers team made of Kobe, Shaq, Malone and Payton.
That team was actually pretty good, but couldn't do it, and certainly not as legendary as it sounds.
Wade got 2 of those guys rings a couple years later, which is why I am pulling (a bit) for MIA on this one, but not really by much.
This series seems to be a race to the executioner.
