Really wish we got to see some actual baseball, but oh well. I think I liked Oscar's story the best this episode.

I guess they're not doing ghost dad anymore. If that was just there to psych us out for the reveal, then I'm a bit disappointed.

Mike blew me away this episode ... Mark-Paul Gosselaar is doing the work of his career! Although the beard makes him look old.

Oscar's story also really interesting, but I have Cuban family so I'm a sucker for a Cuban defector story. :)

Lawson becoming late night chat buddies with Baker felt a little forced to me at first, but then I realized there's been a ton of games, locker room chat, road trips, etc we haven't seen, so I changed my mind.

Also, I was really shocked when we saw Kevin (Baker's mom's boyfriend) in the flashback because he's not too much older than me, right? So, he couldn't have been dating her back then because... oh wait, no, I'm just getting old.
