During an investigation, Lucifer and Chloe clash, so she partners up with Dan instead. Meanwhile, Amenadiel and Charlotte bond, and Maze takes Trixie trick-or-treating for Halloween.
But think of the family group therapy session she can mediate once she gets her wits back, such possibilities.

I could have had three times as much trick-or-treating with Maze and Trixie still not been satisfied.
I was really hoping that Dr. Linda would have been strong enough to cope with what Lucifer revealed. I'd love to see her attempt to shrink that actual devil instead of treating a regular old patient who has a metaphorical view of his life's circumstances. Fingers crossed she'll snap out of it soon.

President of Mars!!! [all the heart emojis]
Also, I thought it was really cool that Maze also showed her true face (per the comics) this episode.

I wonder if Dr. Linda will just block out what she saw or if she'll actually remember it in future episodes. I feel bad for Lucifer either way. That kind of traction had to hurt on some level, even if he was expecting it. After all, he wasn't doing it to scare the shit out of some murderer, but as an expression of trust.

This episode is when the show went from “surprisingly entertaining” to “really really good.” I was impressed by how subtle touches like Lucifer slightly neglecting his grooming indicated just how utterly broken he was. I was already pleased as punch to get that; the reveals were total amazeballs surprise.

My shrink has recommended I watch this show. I am still unsure as to why. Tonight I texted her to ask how she'd react in this situation and she was all, I dunno, were you planning on showing me something, and how do you know I haven't seen yours? With a lot of heart and silly face emojis.
But seriously, how would you react? I'd probably handle it well, but I am also a weirdo magnet and would not be 100% shocked... I think.
