Young Justice: Independence Day, Parts 1–2 Rewatch

November 8, 2016 1:22 PM - Season 1, Episode 1

Robin (Dick Grayson), Kid Flash (Wally West), and Aqualad (Kaldur’ahm), investigate the sinister Project Cadmus and discover Superman’s and Lex Luthor’s love-child clone, Superboy (Conner Kent). Then they must face off against an army of genomorphs, and make their way to freedom. Speedy (Roy Harper) has a hissy fit. Miss Martian (M’gann M’orzz) shows up at the end of the episode to break up the sausage party.

After being cancelled three years ago, DC/Warner has suddenly announced a new season! Good time as any for a rewatch. I will be posting two episodes a week until we get a release date for the new season, and then I will adjust the frequency as needed.

Seasons 1 and 2 of Young Justice are currently available (at least in the US) on Netflix.

Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti are on board for Season 3.

The character of Kaldur’ahm was created especially for this series, and DC liked him so much, he showed up in the comics even before the first episode aired.

First watch for me, not bad. Are there episode recaps out there for a 2010 series? Or some labor-of-love fan-wiki? I'm coming into this pretty blind other than what I know from the CW-DCverse.
