Clarke and Abby question how far they're willing to go when they make a disappointing discovery; Jaha finds a lead to the Second Dawn.

Who saw that coming? * raises hand *
I knew from the last episode this was going to end up with Clarke volunteering herself and then something going wrong because of course.

I'm glad they resolved the nightblood injection issue this way. If everyone becomes nightbloods that would remove radiation as a decent plot device for future story lines. It might be tired, but it makes sense for this show.

They pretty much had to solve this with shelter - the logistics on deploying nightblood were just impossible by this point. Even if everything had gone perfectly, getting enough people inoculated would've been impossible.

The show is bad at logistics, but not that bad.

Plus, making Clarke a nightblood... I've been expecting that as soon as the idea of sharing nightblood came up. Commander Clarke is something they have to at least flirt with.

Other stuff:
* Man, Jaha is a cultist in search of a religion.

At least this is consistent though. He keeps getting weird ideas he's completely fervent about. I'm just wondering how the shelter will go horribly wrong.

* The five year thing...

I'm curious how they're going to sort out everybody being locked in a box for so long. I'm wondering if some deus ex machina will make the prime fire last less long, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, fun episode. I really have liked this season a lot better than the last one.

haha yeah Jaha just can't get enough of cults. He also can't stop being chancellor. I probably won't like it but a whole season of Jaha vs Kane in some kind of Skaikru civil war wouldn't be too implausible.
