Orphan Black: Manacled Slim Wrists

Krystal returns with a surprising piece of intel. As tensions rise in the village, a new arrival at the house pushes Susan to her breaking point.
Some lines and situations felt awkward and forced. The Revival villagers attacked their own dwellings instead of the house on the hill? Despite no visible armed force preventing them from going up the hill? It's probably an overall good to have an explicit line about the patriarchy, but "With fortune and fiction, that's how the patriarchy works" feels too explicit somehow. Maybe it's necessary to make a statement that plain to get it across, but I'm disappointed in its bluntness. The Wordsworth recitation also pushes a literary ambition I'm uncomfortable with not because it exists but because it's so obvious.
On the plus side, all the Krystal vlogging business cosmetics industry corporate espionage stuff was fun.

Other than Scott's ill-advised attempt at trying it on with Cosima at the beginning, I don't think so.
The villagers were about to head up the hill at the end of the episode, right? They were looking up, PT was looking down?

Oh, and I though the destruction had been mostly limited to the medical hut.

Mud, goddammit!! You make it really hard for me to like you!! I hope she gets to redeem herself by killing "PT".

Yeah...Mud. Talk about a character you really want to like, but thwarts you at every possible turn. In the end, she's a messed-up, directionless street kid looking for something or someone to believe in.

Also...Did anyone else catch what may have been a bit foreshadowing when (I think) Sara says to Rachel "One of these days, you're going to need us."

That was Siobhan and yes that felt like foreshadowing to me.

This Island of Dr Moreau/Frankenstein mashup has not been holding my interest. And burning the village? --that was a lot of flames reflected in the window glass--with Cosmina and Charlotte taking off in the only boat means it's going to be a long cold hungry wait until help arrives. The demise of Susan and Ira was poignant. Fortunately we had Krystal and her Vlog to liven things up.

This felt more like a soap opera to me than anything else. Something about the camera work and the introduction of Coady again, as well as the really basic symbolism of Susan all in white and Virginia in black and grey.
I would've been more than happy to have seen PT/John bite it. I guess maybe he'll have to leave the island now that he's losing his blood supply, but I don't really care what happens to him. That whole side of things has disappointed me.
