It has been a wild year for Ring of Honor since last year's Final Battle. After tragically losing ROH mainstay Jay Briscoe in January this year, the company rebuilt itself following Tony Khan's 2022 purchase and resumed national tours. Talent from ROH and All Elite Wrestling have been mingling all year, and with the ROH World Championship and the Tag Team Championships locked down in AEW storylines, the show has compensated by adding emotionally rich grudge matches and some out-of-town spectacle to the normal lineup. Tonight's show, like all of Ring of Honor dating back to 2002, can be watched by members of Honor Club at the ROH website. [more inside]

Following the extremely successful All In at Wembley Stadium, AEW President Tony Khan announced WrestleDream, to be held on the anniversary of the death of Japanese wrestling legend Antonio Inoki, at Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena. Tonight the card is STACKED with title defenses, hometown heroes, and a dream-match main event several years in the making. [more inside]

It is the 20th Death Before Dishonor in the promotions history, and the first in a long, long time without with Jay or Mark Briscoe. But as the brand finds its new footing as a companion to AEW, both legacy talent and brand new names will enter the ring. There is no shortage of wrestling content this weekend, for obvious reasons. Tonight Ring of Honor makes their play for the world's attention. This is the first pay-per-view since the company returned to airing weekly episodes five weeks ago, so most of the matches on the card can take advantage of having been built up enough to drum up some interest.
