Brought to Winfarthing by Dr. Helen Geake to explore a possible Anglo-Saxon cemetery and a field of finds. They previously uncovered the "Winfarthing Woman" As always, the episode is a mix of John's Geo-phys, Stewart's field walking, Carenza's test pits - oh and a Roman connection

I really enjoyed Helen’s relief that the site wasn’t a dud.

It is quite enjoyable to see when they're happy that it's not just a fluke.

Also funny to me that they didn't trust the GPS data for the burial only to find the burial where the GPS said it was.

Felt like less Gus and less humor this go around. Less emphasis on geophys (maybe the site doesn't really lend itself?) - well except the Roman shrine/bath/thingamabob.

I think the Geophys was just noisy and not helpful? The plots they did show were blotchy messes.
