Amazing Colossal Episode Guide: Mary Jo remembers making the episode. Her reflections, in which she shouts-out to several nice breakfast places:
When visiting the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area, I recommend a couple of marvelous breakfast spots...because breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And, if done correctly, it can be the most cholesterol-y and caloric meal of the day. There's the Day By Day Cafe in St. Paul, and in Minneapolis, there's the Egg & I, a veritable Minneapolis institution, and the Bryant Lake Bowl. Wonderful breakfast places all and really quite reasonable. Or feel free to stop by my place and I'll fix you up you a diet Coke and a cigarette.
This movie is actually not that bad. Its quite competently rendered, although it does have long spells of goofiness. Case in point: the scene of the singing troll with the upsetting pants. I didn't hate this movie which is quite something, indeed!

If you show up an hour early, I'm declaring an hour of Rocky & Bullwinkle episodes in remembrance of June Foray.

I'll also have some other June Foray clips to play, maybe for after. Still there has to be a Bullwinkle/MST3K connection... wasn't Frostbite Falls, Minnesota the original location of MST's studio?

There's rarely a connection to MST during YouTube Potluck, and that's basically what this is, just with a theme this time. But if you desire one, MST's referred to Rocky & Bullwinkle a few times:

Fugitive Alien:
"Rocky?"
"Again?"
"Rocky!"
"Again?!"
"Rocky!!!"
"Again?!!"

The Day The Earth Froze:
(The smith Ilmarinen forges a boat with a moose's head at the front, coming out of the forge of Louhi the Witch, causing Crow to do Bullwinkle's voice:)
"Could somebody put me out, I seem to be on FIRE!"

We didn't have a real YouTube Potluck this time, instead showing some videos of June Foray's work and interviews with her. Most of the links came from my MeFi obit post or oneswellfoop's video finds in comments.
