Eyeshield 21: "The Man with the Lightspeed Legs!"

We are introduced to Sena and Mamori! Best friends where a romantic intersection is kinda unthinkable. I mean, it hurts just to think about it. And that's where the genius in this starts.
o yeah this is a sports anime about highschool American Grid Iron Football in Tokyo played between public and private schools
The main character? Sena? He's not smart. He's not big. He is sincere and he is nice. He is quick. Very, very quick.
We are introduced to Hiruma and Kurita. Hiruma is the Devil. Literally. The two of them gleefully running like vandals stuffing recruitment fliers in everyone's mailbox is a memorable scene.
Kurita is an angel, literally. The scene where he stirs some tea into his sugar cubes while being kind to Sena is laugh-out-loud awesome. He's a big dude, and we're invited to laugh with, not at. He's immensely athletic, as he man-handles the Ha-Ha Brothers without even trying, thinking they're fellow athletes and not delinquents.
They become fellow athletes soon enough, because Hiruma has blackmail!
