My Brother, My Brother And Me: MBMBaM 403: Hot Dog Wine

Hot dang, what a fancy episode this is. Put on your best cotillion garb before popping in the earbuds on this one -- we would hate for you to feel underdressed. Maybe toss on a brooch or two -- the NICE ones, you know? Suggested talking points: Nuclear Family Guy, Defeating the Tower of Terror, Public Porch, Fancy Wieners, Celebrity Wine: Why Not?, Five Blades, I Will Vacuum Your House for Twenty Dollars

The brothers are leaving Polygon.

I saw that news. Thank god for that, I say. Not that I want them gone from Polygon, but it's been quite painful listening to how tired Griffin and (to a lesser extent) Justin have sounded over the last year. Travis was rather more astute in realising a bit earlier that you can't have two full time jobs, children and any kind of sanity at all.

I hope they both have a few days' rest now.

Justin and Griffin's official leaving announcement. I'm glad to hear they won't be burning the candle at both ends and also, somehow, from several points in the middle anymore.

From Griffin's Polygon farewell letter: "I've been doing some voice acting work on the side."

In...in Trolls 2?

I think the fact that they haven't talked about Trolls 2 lately is proof that they're going to be in it.

Officially, he's done voice work on Clarence and Camp Camp. Unofficially... who knows?

They did that 300 Foot Robot Golf video game as well, if I recall.

Wow, damn.

I'm happy they'll be able to do podcasts and other pies full time though I will miss their contributions to Polygon. I don't think it's a stretch to say that TAZ is a massive undertaking and was probably a nightmare to try and do that in addition to a full time job and another podcast and ... yeah. That's a lot for anyone.

As long as we occasionally get a Monster Factory (which... isn't so different from how it is now) I'm happy. Griff will be missed (as a regular) on Awful Squad, but I think Brian can step in on entertainment, if not skill.

There was a TMBWBIT2 last month, wasn't there?

Good episode.

justin said on twitter that trolls hasn't happened yet. i assume they're all trying to get v/o gigs to build a resume to present to dreamworks, or whatever the mcelroy version of that is. hopefully they do an episode about that work soon!

I've found my new favorite MBMBaM fan animator and they're criminally low on subscribers, I need more of these 3d boys!

Their statements especially Justin's talk alot about doing video game journalism but like how much of that have they even been doing? It seemed like it was playing video games to get people to buy them.

That fanimator has been posting her stuff on Facebook and I adore it. I want her to make a TAZ series.

Long, lovely thread by Griffin on imposter syndrome, working at Polygon, and his last day at work.
