Every week we watch that week's episode of Mystery Science Theater together, at https://cytu.be/r/Metafilter_MST3KClub. We start off with a preroll movie, usually something weird, at 7 PM Eastern (4 PM Pacific), and move on to the episode at 9 PM Eastern (6 PM Pacific). Hope to see you there!

I.... I may... I may try to make this... Any other ancillary steps I need to take (discord/slack/mefi chat room I need to join) to make it easier later if I am able to show?

Hopefully, no. Flash Player might still be needed on some obscure platform/browser combinations, but it should work without it now on most setups. The only real problem is, the chat function still doesn't always work well on mobile, and it's annoying to chat with an on-screen keyboard anyway. Desktop or laptop computers are best. I think most of us use Firefox or Chrome. Other members might be able to chime in with what works best for them.

Only thing missing for me is the ability pop out the chat window. I have a dual screen setup in my place and my left screen is the big one I use for watching movies and such. But since the chat window is on the left I haven't been able to find a way to get the movie on the big screen and the chat window on the little screen.
