I have a lot of thoughts about this, but am a little short on time this second, so the big one:

Lex killing Red Daughter offscreen has gotta be a fakeout.

Whoops, I shouldn't have called the president treasonous, but he's definitely a pawn in Lex's schemes. I think he's still just the worst.

I'm glad Haley is being portrayed as on the right side of things when it comes down to real dangers.

How did Red Daughter gets the purple lightning stuff? I missed that part. Which probably also explains the purple lightning Lena and Kara flew through on the way to Kaznia.

Lillian and Lena had a great scene together. I enjoyed the baby truthseeker.

I have a whole new appreciation for the casting of Jesse Rath after watching him absolutely nail it as EvilBrainy. After that performance I'd be down for Brainiac as a season villain, if they wanted to go that route. Sam Witwer as Brainy-pretending-to-be-Lockwood was pretty fantastic too.

I agree that Red Daughter getting ganked offscreen has to be a fakeout; otherwise that is a serious anticlimax.

Upgrade due to being created by Harun-El apparently.

Am I the only one who shakes my first in the air futilely at the name "Red Daughter"? Obviously it's a call to "Red Son", but "Red Son" made sense because he was raised by Soviets. So... communist and such. But, one, Red Daughter was made in Totally Not Russia, and Totally Not Russia isn't even communist.

It pains me to see Sheridan now be an evil president. Pains me, y'all.

Jesse Rath is a surprising priceless treasure. Go figure.

I think Brainy will probably be next season's big bad.

Did anyone understand how day turned into night when Red Daughter punched/zapped Supergirl?

yeah that was confusing to me too. I think they tried to show that the fight went into the night but it was a badly edited scene. It made sense that Alex didn't get there until nightfall, since from what I can understand it's a long way from National City to Midvale. But the sudden jump to night during the night was very confusing.
