Supergirl: Dangerous Liaisons
November 3, 2019 7:13 PM - Season 5, Episode 5 - Subscribe
Kara and William team up on an investigation that exposes a terrorist plot on the eve of the worldwide launch of Andrea Rojas' VR contact lenses. Meanwhile, Kelly and Alex celebrate an anniversary, but Alex's safety is in jeopardy.
I forgot to point out previously that Breathtaker is played by Luisa d'Oliveira, aka Emori on The 100! I wonder if we'll see her again, but I wouldn't expect to since The 100 usually premieres in a month or so.
Anyways, this was a great episode, I enjoyed all the mystery and running around and that Malefic got his comeuppance, and also that the characters were mature and reasonable and didn't do something stupid like accuse Andrea without proof. I'm wary that Kelly is going to break up with Alex, but this will let them work in a plot of Kelly using her own tech to get over her PTSD, and that leads to some unforeseen consequences with the VR stuff, and then Alex cures her of it anyways with some heart to heart.

I think I am liking Kelly and Alex's quiet chemistry. It's not obvious like with Maggie, but it's nice.
William: still not in any way caring or impressed by him. They are introducing him terribly a la Mon El back in the day.
Don't you love how superhero shows cannot figure out initial alliteration? Reminds me of the Bigtime series by Jennifer Estep.
