Marco Polo: White Moon
December 22, 2014 5:10 PM - Season 1, Episode 6 - Subscribe

Marco goes all Columbo with Byamba. Khutulun makes a welcome reappearance. We find out who the Blue Princess really is. Hey! let's have another orgy. Sidao takes a hit.

A slow episode with a super cool finish. Worst assassination attempt ever though. I found the motivation (the sight of a little girl reminding her of her daughter) being the reason she lost her cool, a bit hard to swallow. She had been so cool and calculating up until that moment.

I was disappointed at the way the assassination turned out. She should have escaped across the rooftops like in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. She had a lot of potential to be an awesome villain. Maybe she will escape somehow.

This episode is the first time that the dialogue really got on my nerves. But whatever, I guess it's been bad all along and I just noticed this time around.

The stuff going on in the walled city is interesting.

I was super glad that the archery training didn't end with Marco getting all determined and hitting the center of the target. Thank you, show writers.

I'm trying to grasp the workings of a deadly poison that somehow kills the intended victim just by being touched to their lips via a kiss, but somehow does not affect the person wearing it on her lips in the first place.
