There was a lot of silly reality TV drama in this episodes but I found the scene with LC (who I honestly barely remembered from the show), Diamond, and Amber to be the most viscerally shocking. Her reveal that she got COVID from Mark and Amber's big ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ at that just felt a little too much like what we've all been through over the past 18 months.

Good grief, Damien is a terrible person. I honestly feel like this special is flogging a dead horse. I mean let's just move on with our lives, right?

Oh, but conversely, Kenny is like the nicest guy on earth maybe?

I enjoyed watching the married couples figuring their stuff out and appearing to be doing pretty ok. The family birthday party and the Barnett's kiss montage at the party! I figured all the rest of it was going to be reality TV semi-scripted and super edited trainwreck material, and I wasn't wrong. The Damien stuff just made me angry. He seemed completely vain and obviously awful to both women. I can only hope that everyone is trying to get an acting gig at some outfit in Atlanta. It was interesting to see who is still keeping touch as friends at least a little.

The thing I noticed about the initial series and these follow up episodes is that they were all fueled with a LOT of booze. Not a fan of that. From the pre-gaming to the "we're gonna get smashed" to the "let's do shots." I remember being that age, but still.

Agreed 1000% - the fact that it was a mere throwaway is totally now and totally gross.

I missed hating on these people very much. Damian is a mess and Gi has hopefully moved on completely (and told her mother to butt out of her love life). Amber has hopefully at least nibbled on the slice of humble pie the blowback on her behavior towards Jessica served her. It's been two years and you "won"! Get over it already! The Hamiltons are, as always, supernaturally charming.

I think Damian and GG deserve each other. If my girlfriend screamed in my face variations of “You’re supposed to WORSHIP ME!”, I might bring Francesca to our next meeting.

Amber is a terrible person, utterly selfish and self-centred. Barnett had to sell his house to pay off her debts and now they're in a rented place with a room-mate. You're going the wrong way, folks. And that 'so what' over LC geting Covid from Mark was nauseating. Ugh.

I'd forgotten about most of these people but Damian inviting the 'friend' to the party was (although probably producer-driven) a nasty thing to do when he knows Gi is still in love with him and still thinks they are a couple.

I binged all of these last night, and they were so satisfying. The enormous presence of Rory! And Lauren's barely audible impression of Jessica's voice the first time she's mentioned.

Damien inviting a spectacularly underdressed Francesca, from another Netflix show entirely, to the party was ridiculous, and I even loved that.

I could have watched way more of Cameron and Lauren teasing one another over washing chicken and being married for 300 years in their robot bodies.
