A Yes Yes No about the recent (and massive) dustup on Reddit.
Your dream is a million anal sexes? That's a lot to ask.

Thanks to this episode, I have a good idea of what's going on with Reddit without having to stumble into any of the arguments about Reddit (including on metafilter). Truly a public service.

And remember: podcasts are as popular as soup-in-summer

Loved this. Glad they decided to record it even though they were supposed to take a week off.
Speaking of ReplyAll and reddit, this tweet from On the Media cracked me up.

I loved how they fell down a google trends hole. Completely natural and reasonable.
When they mentioned that the founder of reddit dude (name completely escapes me) responded that he was going to sit back and eat popcorn I kinda thought "yeah, that's reasonable". How do you even deal with a community that is large and multi-faceted in situations like that? Anything you say will be agreed to by some and vilified by others and nothing travels through the internet like anger.
Maybe it is/was intentional all along keeping the shadowy hooded figures that run reddit away from the people who use it. It's one of those games where the only way to win is not to play.

this was good, I appreciate someone explaining internet drama in a clear, *short* way so I don't get sucked into the angry, 8000 comment threads about it.
As someone who has been listening to podcasts for about a decade now, I really laughed at the line "almost as popular as soup in summer".

Heh, the anal sex question was deleted, but the answer is still there: Alex Goldman AMA
But the rest of the comments are pretty much just exactly what you would think an AMA of a public radio host would be. Pretty wonky.
