AKA Escape From The Bronx, The Bronx Warriors 2. The people living in a ludicrously named hellscape called the "Bronx" (yeah, right), beloved by its remaining residents because at least its our hellscape, tries to keep out an evil, murderous construction company. Wikipedia notes that this is actually a sequel! I bet that leaves you fully sprinting to Wikipedia to discover Trash's backstory. The next show is the final Comedy Central episode. YouTube (1h33m) Promo Premiered March 2, 1996.

Episode 705 ESCAPE 2000

Satellite News - Mighty Jack's Episode Review - War of the Colossal Fan Guide - Annotated MST3K

Amazing Colossal Episode Guide entry, by Mary Jo Pehl.

Daddy-O's Drive-In Dirt -
Rotten Tomatoes (Critics N/A, Viewers 43%) - Wikipedia (as Escape From The Bronx)
IMDB (as "Escape From The Bronx," 1983, 4.0 stars)
"A rag-tag group of people must fight extermination squads amid their ruined city."
Directed by Enzo G. Castellari. Written by Tito Carpi and Enzo Castellari. Starring Mark Gregory as "Trash" (charming!), Henry Silva and Valeria D'Obici.

It's always a good sign when the movie "poster" on the IMDB page for a movie is actually the cover to a home video release.

Satellite News notes that, between this episode and the next one, MST3K The Movie not only hit theaters, but was already in decline.

The IMDB credits are somewhat amusing. Antonio Sabato appears as a character actually credited by the IMDB as "Dablone/Toblerone." There's also a credit that reads "Lance Manley ... Himself," so I guess he's a known person, somewhere? Ah, apparently that somewhere is the UK, and he also appeared as "Liquid Goblin" in a film nine years later called "The Macc Lads: Sex, Pies and Videotape." And if you want to throw things at the director, he's in the movie as "Radio Operator with Mustache (Uncredited)."

Leave Bronx!

As a first step, we invite you to think outside the Bronx.

MST Club's showing is tonight (Thursday), at The schedule and episodes showing are:

9 PM ET/6 PM PT: 705 ESCAPE 2000

Probably won't have an after episode show (at 11/8 PM) tonight, or if we do I probably will be afk for most of it. Still have lots of work to do.
