Elderly Jew Friedrich Hirsch, having purchased Curtis's rewind power from power broker Seth, travels back to 1930s Berlin to kill Hitler. He fails, in doing so, dropping his cell phone, giving the Nazis technology which alters history so Germany wins the war. In the altered present, Britain is under Nazi control, and none of the misfits know each other.

Starring Joseph Gilgun, Iwan Rheon, Lauren Socha, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Antonia Thomas, and Matthew McNulty. Guest starring Fred Pearson as Friedrich Hirsch. Catrin Stewart (Lily), Josef Altin (Gary), and Michael Marcus (Peter) all make returns in the alternate reality.

Very on-brand for Misfits that even the dignified older gentleman is a useless fuckup when faced with the reality of trying to use a superpower.

The series' take on the venerable tropes of Godwin's Law of Time Travel and Hitler's Time Travel Exemption Act [TVTropes, of course] is on point; there's not that much difference either in the architecture or in Shaun, now in the SS, although he uses his position to sexually abuse Alisha. Seth is also a key figure in the episode, and in general seems to be nudging toward a main cast member. The Nazis' eagerness to claim the superpowers for themselves, though, makes one wonder why the authorities in the prime timeline haven't started looking into all the odd happenings (and spike in deaths and disappearances) in this community since the storm.

I love how this trope was mentioned in one of the early episodes and like Chekhov’s gun, it was fulfilled in S3. Great episode.
