This might have been their sweariest Candlenights to date. And as you probably know the Candlenights episodes are supposed to be their family-friendly ones, so the cussing was beeped out, but mostly that makes it even harder to miss.

The SOP for the past year has been to pre-screen all the questions and call people up to basically recite what they had sent in. So it's not bad; the worst that happens is a couple people don't do a good job of sticking to their roles as straight people for the McElroys' goofs.

They used the same question asker system which has improved things generally, but I found these particular questions more cringey and less in the Candlenights spirit than usual (for one thing, because of the lack of assigned seating, they asked for people by name and didn’t cut that, so I felt like folks were pretty identifiable.)

I enjoy learning that Travis is the person Griffin calls when he is trapped in a bathroom. It’s always good to know that about a person.
