This is an episode that I don't often see in best-of lists but is a personal favorite, probably due to my fondness for the Seventies. I too often think of the Denby line, and whenever a film goes unexpectedly weird, I think, "Whoa... the acid kicked in."

My favorite MST3K of all time, infinitely rewatchable. Maybe that’s just Ben Murphy’s charisma.
