Mystery Science Theater 3000: ANGELS REVENGE
March 23, 2017 10:30 AM - Season 6, Episode 22 - Subscribe
aka Angels' Brigade. "They're Blow You Away!" Seven young women in skintight clothes unconvincingly battle right-wing militia and neighborhood drug dealers. An obvious knockoff of Charlie's Angels, the slime just drips off this movie. In addition to Jim Backus (Misters Howell and Magoo), this movie also has Alan Hale Jr. (The Skipper!), a return appearance by Jack Palance, and also Pat "Mr. Haney" Buttram, Peter Lawford and Arthur Godfrey as himself. This one hurts. YouTube (1h32m) Premiered March 11, 1995.

I was thinking as I wrote this one up that it sounded like foop's perfect movie. I imagine it was probably beloved by Frank as well.

I hope that in the first episode of the new MST3K season, Joel takes a moment to thank a special guest in the audience who made it all possible: Mr. Arthur Godfrey.

I've decided to finally make that post on bad Star Wars wannabes, and am screening them in the room at the moment (Saturday, 5 PM ET) if anyone wants to drop in.

Any cheezy movie that has such an overabundance of iconic character actors, not to mention second-string Rat Packer Peter Lawford, for a trivia-addict like me is going to hurt so good.
